About Us
The Christian Learning Center is committed to providing quality care for children through spiritual, mental, physical and social activities designed to model Christian principles. Our excellent staff model Christian principles found in 1 Corinthians and Galatians as they interact with our children with love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, gentleness, patience, and self-control. Children are challenged to expand their spiritual and academic knowledge through daily lessons which include structured play and high quality lessons in academics as well as spiritual beliefs. Our highly qualified teachers are masters as they instruct children in developmentally appropriate activities yet always reaching out to extend their learning through high quality, fun, educational, hands on lessons. We utilize Abeka Books Curriculum, an advanced Christian-based curriculum which prepares our students academically and spiritually for Kindergarten. Children learn social skills as they play and interact during free center time and outdoor and indoor physical fun time. We provide extra activities such as “Tots”, “Stretch-N-Grow”, and Lone Star Ballet for a nominal fee.
Our location at 1717 4th Ave., Canyon, TX, is centrally located to the most populated businesses and employers of Canyon, including West Texas A & M University, local banking, and many of Canyon Independent schools. Our clean, spacious rooms provide lots of room for our children to play and learn. The Christian Learning Center is open year round from 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 pm Monday-Friday except specific holidays. By providing after school child care for working parents we provide a safe place for school age children to do homework or engage in activities with other children. Offering a multitude of summer activities for children ages 6 weeks – 9 years, our goal is to provide fun filled summer activities that will create memories of joyous childhood.
The Christian Learning Center makes every effort to provide the highest quality child care and early childhood education available for every child.
The CLC uses an advanced security camera system in all classrooms, hallways, entrances, and the playground to ensure the safest care for your child as possible.
